Tristan studied Chemistry at the University of Reading where he also obtained his PhD. He was post-doctoral fellow at Queen’s University Belfast where he is now Honorary Lecturer. He is currently an Instrument Scientist for the NIMROD instrument (Near and InterMediate-Range Order Diffractometer) at the ISIS Pulsed Neutron and Muon Facility, located at STFC (Sciences and Technology Facilities Council) at Harwell, Oxford. His research interest focus on the use of neutron diffraction and computer simulation techniques in the study of liquid phase structure (e.g. ionic liquids and molecular solvents), solvation of small molecules, confined fluids and catalysis. He has published 53 papers with and h index of 24.
He is involved in WP 1.
