This programme is funded by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, HORIZON 2020, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE)
It is carried out with the participation of four institutions:
Queen’s University Belfast, School of Mathematics and Physics, Atomistic Simulation Centre, and the Research Centre in Sustainable Energy, Innovative Molecular Materials (IMM) Group of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Queen’s University Belfast, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
University College Dublin, Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, Republic of Ireland
Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, (National University of Cuyo, School of Sciences), Biophysics & Soft Matter Group at FCEN-UNCUYO, Argentina
ISIS, UK Science and Technology Facilities Council, Didcot, England, United Kingdom
These four institutions have complementary expertise in various aspects of materials modelling, synthesis and characterization.
A scheme of training (School and Workshops) and secondments funded by HORIZON 2020 allows frequent contact of the participants involved in the form of School and Workshops and secondments for Early Stage Researchers (ESRs), as well as shorter visits of Established Researchers (ERs).
The programme includes outreach activities addressed both to the general public and to businesses, for exploitation of results
