    EPSRC grant awarded to ASC

Three members of the ASC (Dr Dundas, Dr Todorov and Prof. Paxton) have recently secured £524,000 funding from EPSRC to exploit their discovery that current-induced forces are non-conservative. The four year grant aims to understand the role of current-induced forces in the failure of molecular electronic devices and how these forces can be harnessed to build molecular-scale engines.
